In the recent light of the drama between Xiaxue and DawnYang, there are some points to note.
What I would call the 2 original starters of the blogwar as wank bloggers, in which they provide wanks to the audience.
Some take it srsly and participate in the war. Some hurl insults, post comments and others like what I’m totally not doing are wank riders.
Wank riders would harp on the issue, provide their own opinions and ummm… hope that their own readers would agree with them.
Let’s study this case right now. (internet lingo and hokkien used. approach with discretion and a new window with google search page to find out the terms used)
Wank started when Xiaxue felt a little bo liao and blogged about Dawn Yang. Her hypocrisy and lies which she wrote to increase personal value. Dawn Yang felt butthurt and proceeded to outbirk by saying she will sue xiaxue for the false accusations.
Emails exchanged between them and their agencies. Xiaxue made to apologise and take down the entry.
Evolved into possibly the “Wank of the Year” for the local blogging scene (and mayyyyybe the entire blogging scene?)
More blog posts after, in which Dawn maintains her own stand and sent an email to Xiaxue, appealling to the fact that they could have been better friends. Xiaxue valiantly? refused and added more points to note about Dawn’s shady character which included her suspicious relationship with Mr R. and her uncanny resemblance to another hot blogger (who has the same name as me~! OUTBIRKKKK (屮゚Д゚)屮 ).
This is wank journalism at its best. Since Xiaxue probably went through more than alot to source for pictures and facts(?). Maybe she has a team of wank journalists working under her to aid in the hyper search for photos and establishing a timeline.
And at this point of time, Dawn does not wish to blog about the issue anymore while Xiaxue’s blog remains at the post with her awesome findings.
And the wank riders shall all post their own findings.
So let us all wank off right now.
