I had another chance to meet up with the lovely lolitas from Paris finally~!!!

We headed to Galleries Lafayette for a Japanese event thingama that was going on.
I’m kinda lazy to put text. I’m the laziest blogger I knowwwww~
I’ll let the pics speak for themselves and umm~ add captions as I go along.

We only started the camwhoring outside of Harajuku (not Harajuku in Tokyo, but just a store named Harajuku which sells overpriced Moitie. )

I love love love Julie’s coordinations. The bodyline jacket is soooo much love.

We roamed around and headed to Luxemborg (god i hope this is how u spell it)okay wait, we were hanging out at a Starbucks before that. But I don’t have pics.

Jeanne dropped by after work and she wearing a gorgeous skirt.

The rest had to go back and Jeanne and I hung out for dinner and everything. She took me to a nice pub where she had her first date so it’s kinda cute. I introduced her to Malibu Pineapple. but it doesn’t taste quite the same as the ones I had back home. Must be the pineapple juice that they use.

Anyway that’s the only pic of me that I have. It’s a freaking hot coordinate and the cape looks kinda big and floppy from the front. I have no idea how to fix that. :/

Anyway, by the end of dinner, I was sooooo bummed cos I haven’t slp at all~

I realised that no matter how much I love the french lolitas, I cld never be one of them simply because I am not french myself. It was a joy nonetheless hanging out with them cos they’re such cool people, but I truly truly belong in drama-filled Singapore. And despite all that drama hanging around, I do wish we could learn to appreciate each other and show hospitality to ppl who are visiting us just like the kindness that the other lolitas all over the world have shown me.

I’m really appreciate and thank the french lolis for their company and also the lovely macaroons I got to bring back. Thank you so much~!!! *hugs*

I love travelling, I really do. And if I had to say, I like travelling alone.
Nothing beats the sheer thrill of finding out how to go to a place and getting yourself there.

I had the honour of shooting with Nicoline once again during my brief stay in Amsterdam, and I had to travel up to Utrecht to meet her.

Sure, it was only a tram ride to the City Central station and another 30min train ride from Amsterdam to Urtrecht. But a person in a foreign land, it was mystery, it was excitement and possibly meant stepping out of his/her own comfort zone.

There is a certain charm to Amsterdam I can’t quite put my finger on… like there’s something sinister waiting deep within, shrouded by the winter nights that comes too soon. There’s much more character there. I’d love to go back again.

the best hot chocolates comes in a stick that you have to swirl in hot milk to melt. whipped cream is love.

Nicoline and I hung out for quite abit the day after the shoot in Amsterdam itself. Europe changes you. That old charm that still lingers behind.

The most annoying part of my trip was the throbbing pain from my wisdom tooth.

I like travelling alone. But I’d like someone to share it with too.

Spent my day in a less-than-beach-resort-like beach. But it’s closer to heart I guess. But my camera even makes the place look decent as a beach resort~! *hearts camera* <3

I love my shiny buckled Birks. They travelled all the way here from Frankfurt (not that the rest of the Birks people buy in stores here aren’t)

The weather was perfect for suntanning. But it was noisy as the commentator for the World beach volley was a pain to listen to. There were couples canoodling in the water which I’d rather not watch. I think murky waters are an advantage to them.

And then when I went back, I was asking myself:

“where the hell did my Sunday go????”

Actually, there isn’t much to be said for this trip. I didn’t spend as much time shopping as I would’ve liked to. We only had a little lesser than 24hrs.

My colleagues and I went to Zhang Yang for some shopping. Apparently that building is like the mother of all imitation goods. But I wasn’t very interested. To me, one look and I can tell it’s an imitation…. well for LV at least, since I seem to notice it the most…speaking of which I’m going to Paris again, I’m realllllly tempted to get another bag.

Okay I digressed.

So anyway, I didn’t get anything there, except for 4 seasons of “The O.C” and the first season of “Heroes”. hahahhah~ And I was watching it the other day with my boy. Damn the quality is good~!!

I think I’ll pick up more of it when I go to Beijing in 1week+ time.

We headed down to Qipulu, where there is supposed to be plenty of wholesale clothings. There were alot of people touting, as we seemed obviously very “tourists”. They’re all selling imitation goods.

My colleague and I ended doing our nails. We were doing the Biogel thingy which supposedly costs around 100-200 in Singapore. I got it done for SGD20. wahhahaha~!!! Moreover, I can paint my nails in other colours, take the colour off and still have my nailart underneath it. Perfect for my job~!!

This is wad I ended up with.

But unfortunately, being a very rough and relatively easy to upkeep person (with some laziness thrown in of course…) I find it hard to get used to long nails.

They were gone within 24hrs of me touching down in Singapore. It was a complete waste of time and money i know… I’m more irritated by the waste of time actually. It took me like 2.5hrs to do this. So in the end, I didn’t get to shop cause the shops were all closed by the time I was done. pfttt….

So in the end, I only got DVDs, a set of makeup brushes and a set of nails that I didn’t want. It was so hard to work with them. I was so afraid of ripping them off. I’d stick to having short nails any day. I heard from the manicurist removing my nails that she has seen some yellow-ing and fungus like stuff on nails that were done like mine. They make nails brittle, do think about it before trying it out.

I’m going to Paris again~!!
