I’m gonna rain on you.

Plane ride was uneventful, so don’t expect any reports on that.

Immigrations was a pain to clear. It took me more than an hour to clear it and collect my luggage. After that it was smooth sailing, from buying train tickets to Tokyo and finding my way to the awesome apartment that I’m staying in.

I’m staying in Kodenmacho, a station near Akihabara on the Hibiya line. In this apartment block called Stylim.

It’s an award winning apartment and everything inside just screams “DESIGNER~!!!”

They put so much attention into the equipment and fittings. The toilet seats that are installed have heater function.
The kitchen space is small but functional and useful for just one or two person staying there.

The entrance area’s light is activated by a motion sensor and the pendant lamps in the apartment are made to slide around so that you can achieve different lighting effects.

The toilet heater has an announcement function when you change the temperature.

And i stole this photo from zer0. LOL…

Isn’t it freaking awesome???

So after being super awed by the apartment, zemotion and I set out for Harajuku. I bought a whole bunch of Swimmer stuff which came up to about 8000yen. D:

Yes I know that’s alot of bento boxes, but they’re not all for myself.

This was yesterday’s lunch.
Beef stew omelette rice from Jonathan’s.

I forgot to add that there was a h00j mob in Harajuku near the entrance of Takeshita dori. I think alot of people were stampede-ed to death yesterday.

We then went to Shinjuku and I went crazy.
I bought all these.
Moitie blouse and choker, Excentrique underbust corset~!

I almost bought everything that I wanted to on the first day.
But I still can’t find the polaroid back for my Holga.

Hawase. I have this in pink. and i decided i wanted it in white as well. I’m regretting it now actually.

Neko OP from Angelic Pretty. I love this so much. I was pleasantly surprised to know that the material is jersey and very comfortable to wear. Unfortunately, it was kinda swimming on me.

Btssb shirring of death blouse. Not too excited about it. the shirring barely stretched when i put it on. basically it’s shapeless on me now.

btssb choker. the jewel is really sparkly~!

This is the second stop for my “Lolita around the world” project. I only managed to get Grace to meet up with me cause it’s weekday and fortunately, she has a day off from school. Thank you so much for bringing me around. :3

I met up with Grace in Kensington cause it’s where my hotel is. The London tube is surprisingly easy to navigate around but like most European subways, certain platforms are shared among a few lines so we’d have to be careful.

I didn’t have much of a plan as to where I’d like to go since it’s my first time there, I only told Grace that I really wanted to see the Big Ben.

And off we go.

Grace is so pretty. I love the colour of her eyes.

We went to alot of other places after that. No photos though, it’s really hard for me to snap pictures while I’m amazed at all the architecture and things happening around me.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE CAMDEN. I declare it the Harajuku of London. Camden has lots of alternative fashion stores of course mainly dealing with punk and gothic since we know it IS the motherland of all these. The platform boots are O_O and there’re piercing and tattoo stores everywhere.

I went into a cyber store and it puts FOTUS in Shinjuku to SHAME. They had such awesome decor and their clothes glow in UV lighting.

We also went into this dept store called Liberty. The building, I believe dates back to the Tudor where Queen Elizabeth I reigned. It like a shopping mall in a huge house. It’s confusing walking around the “house” but I love it.

We also went to a gigantic toy store called Hamleys. SO MANY TOYS. And there’re random toys flying around like a cute helicopter and then there was a dragonfly that we thought was going to crash into us.

Other random things

• The people here do stare at lolitas as well but I guess the only place they don’t is in the larger cities in Japan.
• We did have some people passing comments like “nice dress”. When we were walking around. Europeans are much friendlier than folks back home.
• Rocking horse shoes rules. they’re much more comfortable to walk in than any other shoes.
• My MM OP needs waist ties cos it’s swimming on me.
• I need to get a lolita looking coat.

And that’s pretty much it for my London report. Grace, thank you so much~!! I really hope to see you again~!!

So all the stuff that I ordered finally arrived a few days ago.

I’m really really bored. I’ve been stalking auctions again (cos it’s payday~!)
