I was reading s.’s post in her LJ and pondering upon my own life.
And about the part of wanting what you can’t have.
Desire is such a strange thing. Sometimes the most precious thing is the pursuit and not the end achievement itself.
With reference to owning lolita stuff,the anal part of me sometimes just doesn’t relish in the victory of owning a rare item, but the fact that I -c a n- if I want to.
And amongst many other things in life, I think i hold the same viewpoint; that I can if I want to even on a first try. People often misunderstand this part of me as being proud and aloof.
But think about this; it’s not that I have a point to prove to other people, just only to myself. I’m human too.
