I came back early today to find that the weather was actually pretty good (considering it has been raining these few days).

So I decided to do a little camwhoring.

I lugged my stuff to a nearby multi-storey carpark.
Shooting at 3pm in the afternoon is a bad idea.
I swear I nearly fainted from the heat and the clouds make the lighting super inconsistent. So yeah… Shooting in mid afternoon. Not my brightest moment.

Ok despite queuing up early for the iPhone, I didn’t actually use it until today. that’s cos I did a transfer of network from Starhub to Singtel and yeah, they took longer than expected and I was too lazy to take out my sim card until today…

….

and then at 1am just now, when my bf couldn’t call me, I discovered that my network has been changed. Dammit lah. waste my time changing the sim card today.

I’ll be updating a few times tonight with regards to the queue for iPhone.

I’m currently in the queue with probably about….300 people before me?

Was here since 1030pm and there was already alot of people queueing. Interesting thing is Singtel is very well prepared for all this. They’re giving out brochures, bottled water and stuff u can fan urself with. Better yet, there are companies like Redbull and Nescafe giving out free drink samples to obviously help prevent customers from dozing off (or make them high and induce them into making rash decisions).

I came across a Muji store in New York’s Soho area while I was exploring.

Being the Muji whore that I am, I went in despite having Muji back home in Singapore too.

I was reading s.’s post in her LJ and pondering upon my own life.
And about the part of wanting what you can’t have.

Desire is such a strange thing. Sometimes the most precious thing is the pursuit and not the end achievement itself.
With reference to owning lolita stuff,the anal part of me sometimes just doesn’t relish in the victory of owning a rare item, but the fact that I -c a n- if I want to.

And amongst many other things in life, I think i hold the same viewpoint; that I can if I want to even on a first try. People often misunderstand this part of me as being proud and aloof.
But think about this; it’s not that I have a point to prove to other people, just only to myself. I’m human too.

An idea came to me while I was stoning. I guess it’s one of those moments that you aren’t proud of stoning but then again, the idea makes it all seem so brilliant.
