My job scope does not include the following so please do not bug me.
- Checking out if something is available for you overseas.
- Buying things for you cos it’s cheaper/not available in Sg.
- Planning out your overseas trip for you just because “i’ve been there”.
- Passing things to people overseas cause you wanna save postage.
- Two words: Louis Vuitton.
I only do favors for people I’m close to, so do not assume that I am there for you as your personal shopper. Especially when I haven’t spoke to you for a long time and suddenly you pop up and ask if I can do something for you.
I will only offer to help when I am there along the way or if i am also buying similar items or if I am also going to the store. Simply because some of the things you want me to do interferes with my line of work unfortunately and I’d be reprimanded harshly and I cannot risk that.
So if I offer to get something for you, take it. but do not take it for granted and do not assume that I will do it for you again few weeks or few days down the road.
