I’m in Zurich (again) for the nth time this year.

I’m really really bored. I’ve been stalking auctions again (cos it’s payday~!)

And she bought the dress I wanted at BIN price instead of bidding~ T___T damn. that’s like 50sgd more. boo hooo~

I’m looking forward to my parcel soon. hoho~ and then have a pwnage party or something.

And yeah, these are things I daydream about to pass time in Zurich. I can’t wait to go home.

I almost forgot to post this.

Day 3.

I pushed myself further with the postures. Very dizzy and light-headed after some of the postures…even nauseousness.

And first time in the class that I felt like peeing. I think too much water before the class. I don’t feel that buggin headache after the class anymore. And no more buttache. My thighs and calves don’t hurt either. I guess it’s really taking it’s effect.

I woke up today with an ache all the way from the back of my thighs straight up to my ass. And there was my humbled self laughing at my conceited self last night.

My ass really hurts. So I guess it won’t be sagging anytime soon.

Class today was conducted by Mark. His directions are a little less clear than the instructor yesterday (gosh I forgot her name) but he corrects postures so that’s a good thing.

I guess I worked the hips alot more today I won’t be surprised if my hipbones start hurting when I get up tomorrow.

For the 90mins in the class, my mind was clear and focused on doing the postures. None of those
“hmm what should I eat later?”
“did I switch off the iron?”
“how do you write ‘airplane’ in kanji?”
I felt immense calmness during the class cause there was absolutely nothing that i worried about.

I didn’t manage to dodge the headache that I had from the last lesson. Maybe I’m not doing something right, or maybe it’s just the heat.

So another day, another lesson tomorrow.
And oh yeah, Gwen Stefani concert for a reward.

And thus i embarked on my plan to go for Bikram lessons everyday for the next one week.

Bikram yoga is different from the other forms of yoga as you are doing the postures in a 40ºC room for 90mins.

It is very taxing to just stay in the room for 90mins.

I have nvr sweated so much in my life, not even when I was dancing. But I thank Ryan old man for training us so hard during our warmups during dance classes I wasn’t really affected when doing the postures.

But it is still hard. Alot of times you just feel like giving up cos you’re dizzy/hot/sweaty/annoyed/frustrated.

And I am so so proud of my boy for pushing himself hard in the room.

It all started when crux and I started talking about this panda hat from Heart E.

Then came in all the stats for this hat. This hat is obviously Stealth: -30
Exp: +15

So if GL was an RPG the following would apply:

• continuing on the panda hat, you cannot equip the hat if you’re of ninja class.
• Full Moitie regalia= Spd and Stealth +20
• Parasols are weapons and Meta parasols are default equipment. Baby’s parasols= Atk:+10 Moitie’s parasols absorbs MANA (hahahhaha the pun~!!)
• Bags are defence items and they add item slots as well (moar potions desu~!!)
• Platforms increase atk~!!! but decreases stealth and spd.
• You can only have Max MANA (hahah pun again) if you equip Moitie.

Crux gave an excellent name for this game.

Funny thing. I didn’t realise that today is the date that the Citibank ad starts on my blog.

And ironically, I applied for it today while walking by Citibank today. Even better still, they’re not even paying me to blog about this. Maybe they should throw in a 3yr annual waiver just for me, or give me a macbook. Yeah… a macbook would be good. A black one to match my card. oh yeah~~ =DDDDD~

And yes, I applied it to fund my online shopping needs, although a $500 credit limit would hardly suffice, but I’d rather not apply for an actual credit card for fear of reaching the full 2x limits of my monthly income. It would be tres scary.

So while the dining offers appeal, I would think that I wouldn’t be able to fully make use of the clubbing perks since face it, I’m not one of those people who club alot although I might look like one. It didn’t appeal to me to reach home smelling like smoke, liquor and wasted teens, although the recent smoking ban would really take all these away.

This is making my blog sound very “G-rated” for once, I think I’m just gonna throw in a few swear words for free.

Fuck work.

Firstly, let me just say a big thanks to Jeanne, Julie, Gabrielle, Caroline and Lucie for making this meet possible. You have made my stay in Paris absolutely wonderful.

Paris is the first stop for my personal project, “Loli around the world”. As some of you might have already know, I am starting this project to meet lolitas all over the world and the Paris meet has been really really successful.

I first met up with Julie and Jeanne for lunch at the nice japanese restaurant in Bastille. I didn’t have any pictures of our food or us eating though.

And what is a loli meet in Paris without going to Baby, the stars shine bright?

There was this Marie Antionette One-piece that I loved so much~ I would’ve bought it straightaway if it was in pink, although the red one was also lovely. I couldn’t resist trying it on.

On a side note, there was another male salesperson there and he treated us to some strawberry yogurt drink. That was very sweet of him.

We headed to Starbucks later for a drink.

We headed down to Harajuku, where we met Lucie there. She was in a beautiful gingham dress which she loli-fied herself. There was like 4m worth of lace on the dress.
Unfortunately for me, Harajuku was closed. T___T
We headed to Boddywood instead. And I bought the skirt that Julie was wearing cause I loved it so much. It was more expensive definately but it was also on 30% sale so it eases the pain a little bit.

We headed down to alot more places after that; Junku (the Japanese bookstore), Galleries LaFayette (for Hello Kitty stuff).

Thank you my lovely Parisian lolitas for being so kind to me. I certainly hope to meet everyone again.

Some other random things

• Parisians do stare at people wearing lolita, but they mean no harm.
• Some of them walk by and say comments like “princess”, “lovely”, “cute”. We even had sales person saying “kawaii” to us when we were walking around in Galleries Lafayette.
• Random people can just strike up conversations with us by the way they dress which I think is amazing because in Singapore everyone just stares.
• Lolita shoes are not made for cobberstone pavements.
• Long-sleeved cutsews are too hot for summer.
• It is very expensive to be a lolita in Europe
• There’s only a small number of lolitas in Paris itself. But Baby store’s items are sold out very quickly cause of regular patronage and tourists.
