Simple pleasures.
The links are up and if I didn’t include you, it means you don’t update often enough, and this is a reminder to change your links from my old blog to this one. More photos up from the Egypt trip, including the panoramic shot of the Nile river.

And thank you very much Dave, for this adorable Maplestory Ribbon pig cny card. It’s been ages since I’ve received a card and this one really brightened up my day. And Happy Chinese New Year to you too. :)”–Yun
Zeng and I decided to have our dinner at Changi Village and we stumbled upon this “Nasi Ayam Penyet” I don’t speak Melayu so what the hell does “Penyet” mean? In my own translation it must be “omg-it’s-fried-till-crispy-but-the-meat’s-still-tender”~
We initially wanted to have nasi lemak (duh~ wad else do u go for in changi village) but I’m glad we decided to try out this instead. It’s so yummy, I’ve got new reasons to go to Changi Village now.
Even though I was eating chicken breast, the meat was tender and it breaks apart easily. The hot chilli-based sauce was really nice, with a hint of sweetness in it. The skin is crispy and well seasoned. dammit I wanna go back there and eat it like NOW~!!
Now I wonder if they do delivery…. hmmm…

Oh yes, this is nice. My friend recommended it to me previously.
We eat there occasionally. Nice! The chilli is a little spicy though.

In bahasa melayu, penyet means flattened.
In bahasa indonesia, penyet means crushed.
