At first I’m pretty sad that I’m gonna have to work on Chinese New Year in China, but in actual fact, I’m pretty much enjoying myself here.
The things here are dirt cheap, the work was pretty easy.
I went out shopping today (or rather, attempted to shop). In the end, I zhng-ed(hokkien equivalent for “pimped”) my phone so it’s a glittery dark grey which suits my phone completely. And it only costs me RMB50 which is like SGD10~ I really admire the assistant for her patience. She had to painstakingly bore holes for the speaker in the glitter film. There were 44 holes, I counted.
I’ll have pics up later since I didn’t bring my card reader with me.
Anyway, I had eyelash extensions done. They were effin cheap as well. It costs me RMB50 bucks…and it would have easily costed me SGD 60 bucks if I were to do it in Singapore. And I got so bored I counted the number of individual lashes she stuck on an eye. There were a total of 50+ lashes on one eye which meant that there were 100+ individual lashes on both eyes~!

I’m not really used to it. My eyelids feel abit heavy. My colleague experienced a bit of discomfort and started to tear after doing it.
The funniest thing happened after I removed my contact lenses.
My lashes hit the lens of my glasses. LOL…now I have to wear my glasses lower on my nose bridge. I look like an ah-ma (granny) doing her knitting and sewing work. wahhahaha~ *amused*
More shopping tomorrow. I’m hoping that I’ll buy something tangible instead. muahhaha~
